Arrival and Collection

All children and parents enter the academy via the gate on Blackthorns Close which leads on to the Key Stage 1 playground.

Key Stage 1 parents and children can wait on this playground. At 8:40am Key Stage 2 children are able to go up on to the Key Stage 2 playground and in to school. 

Children in EYFS and Key Stage 1 are dismissed by teachers to their parents or whoever is collecting them onto the Key Stage 1 playground. Key Stage 2 children are dismissed from their classrooms and they meet their parents on the Key Stage 1 playground.

We share our safety procedures with the children and they come straight back in to the academy office if there is nobody to collect them on the playground.
