Inventors (Year 1)
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your child to Year 1.
Miss Renfree is the Inventors class teacher and she is supported by a fantastic team including Mrs Wheller, (Tues-Thurs) Mrs Mundy (Mon-Fri) and Mrs Thomas (Mon).

Inventors: Developing independence
Year 1 is an exciting year when children begin to develop their independence and grow: both academically and emotionally. Our aim is to ensure that the children experience a smooth transition from the Foundation Stage to Key Stage One. The Year 1 curriculum builds upon and extends the experiences that children have had in Reception, they will gradually be eased into more formal learning: through a range of exciting topics, so that they remain motivated, enthused and eager learners.
