Should a child miss school due to illness or another reason, we request that a telephone call is made to the academy office on the first day of the absence.

Holidays during term time will not be authorised, other than for exceptional circumstances. Any parent taking a term time holiday may be issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice.

The academy is legally required to monitor attendance and will contact parents of children whose attendance is below the expected level.
